Some things you probably don't know about me, and

Some things you probably don't know about me, and I'll get straight into something I've never mentioned here before 😬 but it runs my entire life...
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
1. I have plantar fasciitis which is basically an injury to the muscles in my feet. I can't stand up for too long without being in pain. It sucks, but I'm learning to pace myself and look after my body!
2. I cut coke out of my life (the drink). A couple of years ago that's all I drank, now I won't touch the stuff! It started with me trying to be healthier, then I noticed I felt so much better when I didn't drink it 😁
3. And something a little more lighthearted - I'd quite happily do nothing for hours, days even, and listen to music! I love to just sit/lay/stand - wherever I am - and listen to music all day everyday. It's my go to thing I love to get lost in!

I spend hours embroidering or on my laptop here and I love it! Comfort is such an important thing and I love that I can spend my time here.

Doing embroidery isn't just limited to just a desk or sofa... you can do it in bed, on the floor, in the car (not while driving), on a train and even outside in the garden! I'm going away this weekend so I'll be spending some time without wifi and just enjoying some quiet time away from Instagram. I'm really looking forward to relaxing and disconnecting in a different place for a change!

Here's a quick guide on all the supplies you need to recreate my embroidery patterns!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You don't need to have anything super fancy or expensive to get started with embroidery! All you need are these 6 simple supplies:
- embroidery thread
- fabric
- embroidery hoop
- needle
- scissors
- pencil or transfer pen (I like my Frixion pen)

I make sure all my kits include the main materials you need to complete your embroidery project. The only things you need to have is some sharp scissors and a pencil/transfer pen. Both of which you may have at home already or you can pick up from your local supermarket!

This is how my day looked 🥰 The gorgeous Hope rolling over all my threads, sitting on my bee embroidery, playing with my pens and headbutting my hands for attention.

When she wasn't distracting me, I was getting some things prepared for my new kits! You may remember a couple of weeks ago that I shared a few designs on my stories asking you which was your favourite. If you were one of the people who voted, thank you so SO much, it was really helpful!
